Daydream: A Blast from the Past

Daydream Daydream: A Blast from the Past

Every now and then when I've had such a busy week and I need to recharge my self, I give my lungs a run through Mariah Carey's Daydream CD. Today is such a day! It was raining in Vancouver, it's Friday and I'm at home working on homework after working long (extremely long) hours with starts of 06:30 am. I really shouldn't have any problems with early morning starts since I used to work 7 to 7 on the ward but I'm entitled to whine! Those of you who know me, you shouldn't be surprised at this rant.

Anyway, as I was singing along with the CD in my bedroom, making sure the neighbours don't hear me and tell me to shut up, it reverted me back to my high school days. I've always associated this particular album with that phase of my life. You know what they say; music brings memories kinda like how a certain scent will remind you of a particular person. I remember how I used to "perform" inside our house back home. My mom always thought I was silly (not in a bad way but a funny way) for wanting to be a singer but she still encouraged me to sing. I remember turning up the volume of our stereo system in the living room then walking up on the family hall (which happened to be a step above the living room...hence a very perfect stage for a very vain singer!!). Then when "One Sweet Day" came on, I remember practicing it with my high school classmates Jackson, Aniceto and Jericho inside our classroom in preparation for a performance. These guys were extremely talented singers and they encouraged me to try singing it but in the end I chickened out and we sang "If I Never Knew You" instead.

I haven't been home for almost 10 years and I really wish I could. I wish I could go back and see family and friends, maybe this year. I may not get homesick as much as I used to when I first moved here but when I do, it kinda makes me want to pack up and go home. I guess I just have to be patient and maybe this year I can actually use my vacation to go home.

Star Wars Stamps

Star_wars Star Wars Stamps

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars, George Lucas teamed up with the United States Postal Services (USPS) to release 15 new 41-cent commemorative stamps. The stamps have images from all six Star Wars movies and will be released on May 25 during the Star Wars Celebration IV at Los Angeles.

USPS is also holding a vote for the public to choose their favorite stamp out of the 15 choices. The winning stamp will be released with its own stamp sheet. If you guys are interested in voting for the Chosen One here is the link:

Luke I personally like the one with Luke Skywalker standing outside of his uncle's house with the background image of two suns. When I look at that image it always brings me back to that time when me and my cousins first watched the Star Wars Movie back home in the Philippines. All of us young'uns were herded into one house to watch movies in the afternoon to get us out of the heat while the teenagers went out and hung out with their buddies. We were all so amazed, at least that's the case with me. I was so fascinated about the visual effects and the storyline! Makes you really wonder whether when will get to that point in time when we can actually have or interstellar or intergalactic travel.

I also liked the Darth Vader stamp. After all when you hear Star Wars, the first thing everyone thinks about would be the ominous sound of Darth Vader's breathing. Really!!

I think the stamps are really cool, unfortunately it is only released in the States. I don't think Canada Post will come up with this same thing.

Yes I Can!!!

Canadianbloodserviceslogo_1Yes I Can!!

Well, who would've thought I'd get to this point!! I donated blood today! Apparently I barely managed to squeeze past their requirements and that if I wanted to continue donating, I must maintain my weight as it is right now. I don't think that will be hard. It's harder to lose the last 5 pounds you want to get rid off.

It was an interesting experience though! I managed not to pass out. I guess it helps when you don't look at that big honking needle they poke in your arm. It was definitely worth it and I wouldn't think twice about donating again.

They're Back!!

McleodOi! They're Back!

McLeod's Daughters is finally back with a new season. I accidentally found out about it last night when I was flipping from one channel to the next to keep me occupied when instead I should be working on a group assignment. For those of you guys who aren't out partying on a Friday night, you can check out the show on Channel 70 (Vision Channel) at 10:00pm. Hope you guys like it!

San Francisco

Dscn1909 San Francisco, California ( 06 - 11 Feb 2007)

I was in San Francisco 2 weeks ago for the American Stroke Association's Annual Stroke Conference and it was my first time there. Unfortunately, I didn't really have a lot of time to sightsee as our days were very packed with sessions and symposium. On top of that we had dinner meetings too. Saturday was a packed day cause it was the only day for sightseeing. Peterson (my co-worker) and I went to Alcatraz, even though that was his third time going he still kept me company. It was an interesting experience. It wasn't very creepy cause there were so many tourists in there. It kinda reminded me of Mauthausen, a concentration camp we visited in Austria cause everyone was quiet and just talking it all in in their own way.

After the trip to Alcatraz, Peterson and I went to Fisherman's Wharf and had crab for lunch. Walking by stalls after stalls of lobsters, crabs and shrimps kinda made us hungry. It was fun though! Standing by the stall, picking on the warm juicy crab! NUMMY!! I'll definitely do that again.

After that we just walked around the wharf and the pier and headed towards the Ghirardelli Ice Cream Shop. I had their brownie sundae and man that was some smooth, creamy ice cream and chocolate. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting San Francisco. Even if you are watching your calories, one ice cream from Ghirardelli is worth screwing your calorie count for. Well, that's my opinion anyway.

I should mention though that while we were sightseeing it was raining in San Francisco. It was raining the whole time we were there, alternating from light to heavy rain. Then on the day we were leaving, it was damn bright and sunny. It's gotta be me travelling. I can never catch a good weather.  Oh and to top it all off, our flight was delayed leaving San Francisco because the approach sensors on the airplane weren't functioning. Goodness!! I couldn't believe my luck! Here I was in the same position I was in 2 weeks prior. Needless to say, the last 3 times I've flown in a span of 6 weeks, I've had problems with my flights. The most problematic was my flight back from Toronto when it was delayed at the airport for 2 hours because the cargo door wouldn't close. Finally they got that closed and we were off. Then in mid-flight they discovered that the problem was a bit more extensive than the cargo doors. One of the main hydraulic engines weren't functioning well and wouldn't do well with Vancouver's turbulent weather. So we had to make an emergency stop at Calgary, got off the plane and waited an hour for another plane from Vancouver to bring us back to Vancouver. It was a disaster! I was supposed to arrive in Vancouver at 8 pm and didn't actually get there till 3 am. I was not impressed! This was what I was worried about when they told us in San Francisco that they were having problems with the approach sensors. Granted California wasn't that far and the flight wouldn't take that long but it was the fact that I was on another plane with another malfunction. Well, hopefully I won't have this same experience next time I fly which won't be for a little while.

Anyway, San Francisco was really nice. I got to walk around Downtown a little bit on Sunday morning before my flight. Those hills are deadly! Well, I didn't try walking it anyway. Why should I when there's a perfectly functioning cable car that would get me to where I want to go? Maybe another time. It would be a good exercise though if you walk or jog that hill everyday, but that's for the people who live there.

I've posted some photos in my blog album. Check em out!

Step Up

Step_up Step Up

I am so addicted to this movie! I have seen it at least once everyday for the last few days. The dance moves in this movie were very well choreographed. The dancers moved so fluidly that I could not believe how their body stayed together. It looked like their arms and legs were going to pop out of their sockets. Watching all the dance moves kinda motivated me to go back to my dance classes. Hey whatever works right! I wasn't gonna pass up that motivation to get my butt off the couch. I also liked all the dresses that the lead female dancer was wearing during the movie. Maybe when I actually go frequently to dance classes then I can justify buying those tights and wrap around dresses.

If you guys like dance movies at all, check this one out. It ain't that bad. Here's a link to a website that has some of the video clips/trailers of the movie:

Sidney Sheldon 1917 - 2007

Nothing_lasts_foreverIn Memoriam:

Sidney Sheldon, 1917 - 2007

I just found out today that Sidney Sheldon has passed away last January 30, 2007 due to complications from pneumonia. It's sad to know that there will be no more Sheldon novels to read.

It was my aunt who got me started reading his novels. One summer while I was still living in the Philippines, she went home and she brought tons of novels that she's read already and gave them to me. I got started reading one of Sheldon's books which was titled "Nothing Lasts Forever". I remember thinking, this guy really had me going in circles. I was amazed at how he wrote he story. It was gory or morbid at times, but it definitely made the story interesting. I think I've pretty much read all his books and I like them all but I definitely love the very first one I read.  I liked all the mysterious tidbits he included in the story and how it all added up in the end. When you read a chapter, you kinda think, what the heck does that have to do with the story, and then in the end it all clicked in to place.

For those of you who haven't read any of his novels, borrow one from the library and see what you think of it. It's all about the mystery and suspense in the story. If you like that kinda of stuff, I'm sure his novels won't disappoint you.

The Nutcracker

The_nutcracker The Nutcracker

This holiday season, Keith and I watched Ballet BC and Alberta Ballet's co-production of "The Nutcracker". It was performed very well by all the dancers but I found that I liked the group performances more than the individual or pair performances. Watching the ballerinas on their tippy toes, swinging and dancing as the distinctive 'ping' of the bells of the music was being played by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra was 'enchanting'. It is definitely a fairy tale - just with the music and the costumes, everything were classy and elegant. I bet that most boys watching the show did not have as much fun as the little girls. At the end of the show you kinda notice all those little girls trying to dance on their tip toes and asking their parents if they could be a ballerina when they grow up.

I've actually been trying to figure out where i first heard of the music for The Nutcracker and I think it was from Disney's Fantasia movie. I seem to think that the Waltz of the Flowers was played during the segment where a little fairy was dancing on the frozen lake and making some very interesting squiggly art on the ice. But I can't be so sure, it's been a while since I watched that movie. I guess i'll just have to watch Fantasia again.

Why can't I??

Canadianbloodserviceslogo Why can't I??

Recently, I've been planning on what I would do for my upcoming birthday. I kinda wanted to do something "good". That doesn't necessarily mean I wouldn't go out partying the next day. I was hoping I could donate blood so I started looking into what the requirements were before I can donate blood. I looked up the information at Canadian Blood Services website: http://www.bloodservices.ca/CentreApps/Internet/UW_V502_MainEngine.nsf/page/Donors?OpenDocument&CloseMenu

and I found out that you have to be a certain weight for a certain height. Unfortunately for me, I didn't make the cut off. I thought I could finagle my way in eventhough I was a few pounds less than their minimun weight. However, they had told me I needed to gain 3 more pounds for my height before I can donate blood. I was extremely disappointed but what else can I do. All these requirements are in place as safety/security measures for the donors and the recipients. I haven't fully decided yet whether I will try and gain that "3 pounds" in order to donate blood.  I guess I'll just have to do something else while I make that decision.

For those of you who aren't vertically challenged as I am, and are able to donate blood. THINK ABOUT IT!! I'm sure someone out there would appreciate your gesture.

HOW I WISH!!!

Mini HOW I WISH!!!

I had a great time today cause I got to test drive a MINI COOPER S!

I love how this car makes me feel a little bigger or taller cause it fits me just right. The handling on this car is amazing!!! It hugs those tight corners smoothly and it accelerates really quickly too. I hope someday I'll be able to own one.

What a rockin' concert?!!!

The Emancipation of Mimi Tour 2006

Emancipation

I'VE FINALLY SEEN MARIAH CAREY IN CONCERT!!!! SHE WAS AMAZING!!! I couldn't believe how lucky I was to finally watch/hear her LIVE. She has an amazing vocal range and boy how I wish I had that too.

We got great seats cause we were only a few feet away from the center stage. I got to see her up close and personal. I would never have thought that this would have happened. Now, everytime I sing her songs in the shower or while I'm cleaning the house, I'm definitely gonna think about how much fun I had that night. Ida and I were screaming our hearts out...more like our lungs. We had such a great time!!!

Note: I know this post is a way late considering the concert was back in September but I wanted to pay homage to my singing hero in my own way....

Flying Madness - Have you flown lately?

Air_canada Flying Madness - Have you flown lately?

Keith and I just got back from our very relaxing and enchanting honeymoon cruise in the Caribbean. The cruise was very delightful but I should tell you the trip didn't begin so smoothly. It all began with the flying madness on August 25 with Air Canada. Our flight was supposed to leave at 0700 however it was delayed by an hour and a half due to a "technical communication problem" within the airplane. I got to thinking why on earth wasn't this problem noticed and resolved hours before the flight departure??? Shouldn't airline companies have frequent maintenance checks of technical systems on the night before a flight or maybe early on in the morning before they start boarding passengers on that plane????? Shouldn't these technical problems be monitored and solved efficiently??? What are all those exorbitant airfares and miscellaneous fees we're paying for? Do they just get pocketed by the big wigs in the airline companies? Is it too much for a paying customer to expect this much from a service provider?

Needless to say, that one problem ended up escalating to more problems for me and Keith that day. Since our flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flight to Fort Lauderdale from Toronto. We were supposed to be at Miami that night, enjoying our paid stays at Hilton Miami Hotel, instead we ended up at Ramada Hotel in Montreal. Why Montreal? Well, since we missed our connecting flight at Toronto and the next flight out of there to Miami was not till 3:40 pm (by then it would be too late because the cruise ship was going to sail out at 4:00pm), we opted to fly to Montreal. The following morning we caught a 9:00 am flight to Miami. I was really disappointed with Air Canada. I have flown with Air Canada so many times, but not as many as other people but I've had my fair share of late flights with Air Canada. I can't put up with that anymore when other airline companies seem to not have any problems with their flight departures.

Another thing I've decided from that trip was that I will avoid connecting flights at Toronto. It's one thing if you're connecting for a trip within the country but when you're flying out of the country is another thing. I didn't really like having to take a shuttle bus from a domestic terminal to an international terminal. Couldn't they just be all in one building?? I've flown to Toronto before and it has never bothered me before but with this recent maddening experience I'm kinda not happy about it. The one inconvenience with these separate buildings was that when Keith and I missed our flight to Miami and we had to fly out to Montreal that same afternoon, we had to run around collecting our baggages. Our baggages were tagged for Florida so it was at the international terminal. We had less than 2 hours to collect our baggages and check ourselves in again for our flight to Montreal. After we've spoken with a customer representative about our flight change, he directed us to collect our baggages at Cart 1, so we waited at cart 1 but it wasn't there. We had to ask another airport staff and told him about our situation. He said well your luggages will be at the international terminal because we were supposed to be at that terminal for the flight we missed. So off we went out of the domestic terminal and we just missed the shuttle bus. Luckily another one came along with 5 minutes. We went inside the international terminal heading towards the baggage claim area and this lady airport staff stopped us and said we couldn't go in cause we didn't have the appropriate boarding pass. Fair enough but couldn't she escort us in to grab our baggages since there were two of them there sitting by the desk. No she couldn't, we had to find another staff to escort us in. When we found a staff to escort us in, we walked pass by the lady airport staff. After we've collected our luggages, which took a while, we walked out the same way we came in without our staff escort because she left as it was taking a long time for us to find our luggages. This lady airport staff stopped us again and asked us where the escort was and we said she left because it was taking us a long time to find our luggages. It looked like she was going to say something else but we just interrupted her cause we were running out of time and we didn't really want to miss another flight. I was livid by this time but now that I think about it, she was just trying to make sure the luggages were not stolen. If that was here reason for stopping us again, they why did she not just check our photo ids and compared the name to the luggage tags. Then I thought, even if she did that how would she know that we didn't change the tag to show our names? (Keith and I wouldn't actually do that!!) Maybe that's why she wanted the escort staff to come along with us. However, even though we had an escort staff, she wasn't standing close to us, in fact she was chatting with other staff, so she wouldn't have seen if we change the luggage tags (again we're not going to do such a thing). Oh well!! Anyway, on top of all this chaos we managed to make it onto our Montreal flight.

After that it was smooth sailin as soon as we got onto the cruise ship and we've forgotten about that incident. I just thought to share with everyone what we've experienced and hopefully you won't have to go through it.

I'm not Dopey but why do I feel so dopey?!

Dopey I'm not Dopey but why do I feel so dopey????

I have been lucky not to have needed T3's when I got my wisdom teeth out. However, I have been unlucky to have recently been in a rear-ender . Boy, I had no idea how bad whiplash injury could be!!! I was not a happy camper. My neck was really sore and was getting extreme muscle spasms that hurt like hell. The doctor has given me prescription for this medication called Robaxisal C and it has a muscle relaxant med in it, as well as Aspirin and Codeine. The first time I took the medication, after a few minutes I was feeling loopy/dopey. It felt so weird like everything in the room around me was swaying. I figured out that 2 tablets (with 60 mg of Codeine) might be a little too much for little old me!!!

Anyway, I'm glad that this muscle relaxant is working now. I might actually be able to get some sleep tonight.

Why do I even bother?!?!

KissesWhy do I even bother?!?!

I don't know why I even bother working out when the next day I'll just waste it eating a bag of Cheerios (well not the whole bag!) or a bag of Hershey Kisses. How much control does it take? Apparenty, I don't have that much control when it comes to my cravings. How am I supposed to look fit for my wedding when I keep horking down every junk food I can find in our cupboard? I guess I should learn not to stock our cupboard with any junk food. However, I'm also a firm believer that you should reward yourself for every hard work you've done. So maybe it is justified to have a few Hershey Kisses but not the whole bag!

I find it hard to motivate myself to continue working out when I always have pain when I first start. I know that once I've got the routine down, it won't hurt as much but it just seems like I'll never get over the pain. However, I'll have to keep going to the gym cause those damn fees are wracking our VISA card quite a bit!

Goodbye Agassi!!!

Agassi Goodbye Agassi!!!!

How my heart is broken!! I will never get the chance to watch him play tennis live. I've always wanted to see him play live but I've always put it off too. Mind you I've never missed his games on tv! That is, if I happen to be at home and not working. Well, maybe I'll take the time to see him at his last U.S. Open. Hopefully, I'll have the money and vacation time to do it.

I remember when I was young, Ida and I would always watch tennis games in the summer. The finals of every tournament would always have Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi. I would cheer for Andre and Ida would cheer for Pete, unfortunately more often than not Andre would lose to Pete. My sister has always bragged about how dynamic and superb a player Pete Sampras is, which he really is. So is Andre! He's had his fair share of slams anyway and i guess he's making room for younger players to do the same.

Roger Now that Agassi is retiring, I guess I can root for Roger Federer cause everyone is saying that he's the next best thing. Roger definitely plays like Sampras. I like that he's quiet and you can't tell what he's going to do next. But maybe I should root for an underdog, i just don't know who. Guess I'll just have to watch more tennis tournaments to figure it out.

I sure hope I have a green thumb!

Gardening  I sure hope I have a green thumb!!

Last weekend, Keith and I finally decided to do something about what little garden we have. It was so much fun pulling out all those weeds and not so pretty looking flowers. I just don't like all those little creepy crawlers on the soil but I guess i can't prevent that.

Our little garden looks cleaner, breezier and prettier. We planted hostas and stargazer lilies. I hope to God that they survive!! I guess if they didn't, we'll just have to try a different plant/flower.

I can understand now why most senior nurses are into gardening. It's a great way of relieving your stress, especially psychological stress, cause you just forget the things that worries you most. You get into a relaxed state even though you are working physically, it's not a hard job as long as yo don't have a huge garden.

Well, that's it for me today. Wish me luck with my garden....i meant our garden.

Massage: What a treat?

Massage Massage: What a treat?

After a number of days working hard, and losing sleep from being anxious with this new work, I'm finally off for a few days. I decided to treat myself to an hour of relaxation massage. It was AMAZING and definitely RELAXING!!! It was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. Well, it doesn't help that I just got off a night shift!! Maybe I was falling asleep because of that.

Massage is so great for stress relief and if I could, I would get a massage every week. My back hasn't been the greatest since I've hurt it twice already so the massage and chiropractic adjustments have been helpful. I'm sure most of you guys have had a massage before but if you haven't, go try it out cause it's definitely worth it.

Hot Hot Heat

Sun Hot Hot Heat!!!

Sorry folks! I'm not going to be talking about the funky and popular band from Vancouver Island in this post. Maybe another time! (Check out their new song "Middle of Nowhere" via the link!!)

Some of you may have read my previous post,  and you'd remember that I mentioned being new to working out. The one thing I love about working out is that afterwards I can go into the sauna or steam room. I remember how frequent sessions in the sauna has made my sister's skin feel so soft and smooth....just like a baby's skin. So, I thought why not give it a go?! However, I found that saunas made me claustrophobic cause I felt short of breath and felt like no air was circulating. So then, I tried the steam room and that was a bit better cause I could feel a little cool cause of the moist air provided by the steam.

So I figured out that I prefer the steam room. However, I wasn't sure whether this would still give me the same soft and smooth skin my sister got from using the sauna. I then searched online for information about which one is better. I found a website that explained to me how sauna and steam room worked differently and how they benefit us. I've provided the link below, however, keep in mind when reading this article that it is provided by a company that sells saunas and steam rooms. I can't vouch for its scientific merit if that is what you guys are looking for. Hopefully, this will help you learn more about sauna and steam room, that is if you don't already know about it. As for me, I'm just going to keep using both and see how it goes.

Working out is hard to do....

Working out is hard to do...

I'm a newcomer to the working out circuit. I've always thought that the people who have always worked out has a lot of motivation because it certainly takes a lot of effort to make it worthwhile. I've never worried before about the fact that I didn't work out, and ate whatever I wanted and drank as much Coke as I can push into my stomach. However, now that the wedding is looming really closely, I've had to take a closer look at myself....PHYSICALLY! I'm sure just like any other future brides, I've realized that in order to look good in my wedding photos I've got to do something. That's how I got started working out.

However that's not the only push factor for me. The other being the fact that my future mother-in-law who has a full-time work, is taking courses to finish her Bachelor's degree and is curling 2-3 times a week has found time to work out. I, on the other hand, have 5 days off from my full-time job and yet I just sit in front of my tv for those 5 days off. It doesn't look good, doesn't it???

Well, now that I've realized how beneficial working out is for me, I'm going to keep doing it. I just hope that I don't get tired of it after the wedding.

I'd rather be that than this......

Assertive

I'd rather be that than this.....

Everyone is unique, if that weren't so then there would be no reason to call us individuals. Each person has a certain characteristic, personality, demeanour and possesses their own set of values and beliefs. How each person is shaped helps that person to get through their life and work. How do you know ahead of time that the job/work you want to be in is exactly the one that fits your personality or demeanour? They say each person changes career at least 5 times before they figure out what they really want to know. But don't you think it's a little tiring and stressful to be changing careers too often. I don't mean working for Company A versus Company B while still doing the same job. Wouldn't it be too stressful to find out that the job you are in right now may not be the right fit for your personality? Isn't it frustrating to think that the job you've worked so hard on achieving while in 4 years of university may not be what you really want to do for the rest of your life?

Some people have told me that it takes a certain personality to become a nurse. I believe that cause now I've finally realized how much my personality does not fit this job. Why is it that some people have so much assertiveness and others have any at all? I am definitely not the most assertive person in this planet. I don't like pushing my way in. I take my time but in this job I'm in, you gotta get in when you can. Otherwise, your patients life is at stake.

I wish I can be a little bit more assertive but it's not that easy to change something of yourself that you've been for the last 26 years. Change they say is the only constant thing in this world. If only I can buy a bit of assertiveness??? I would have done that ages ago. I've been assertive on dire occassions at work but I wish I can be assertive all the time.

For anyone who is lucky enough to find their dream job, kudos to you!!! However, I do realize that work is work and there definitely will be days when you'd hate your work. It's not perfect and it is up to us to make it work. So it's up to me to figure out how I can be more assertive. Or should I just start thinking about finding another job? Sad thought isn't it? I'm sure there is something out there for someone like me, I just have to go and find it.

McLeod's Daughters: What I'm into right now....

Mcleods_daughters McLeod's Daughters - it's an Australian drama series...kinda like the many soap operas in North America. The first time I watched this show, I was so confused cause I couldn't easily pick-up what they were saying due to their accents. But now, I can get by okay. It's about Tess McLeod and everyone else who lives in Drover's Run and the surrounding ranches. It is interesting and if you guys get it with your cable, check it out.

What movies can do...

I was watching "Day after Tomorrow" again today. I have seen this movie a number of times and I've always wondered how bad will it be if we do not start to take care of our environment. We all know Hollywood has a penchant for exaggerating issues for the sake of art but in this case exaggeration has somehow served a purpose. If this movie has made at least 15% of its viewers think about what they can do to help protect the environment, then I would say it has done some good to the environment.

So what exactly is going on with our environment. Yes, there are a number of greenhouse gases that affect our environment. The concentration of these gases in the atmosphere has certainly increased since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.

What can we do about it? There are a number of things we can do to help reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. Please educate yourselves to what you can do to contribute. It does not have to be a HUGE action, even the littlest thing can help. I know we all live in a highly technologically dependent society but there are ways to enjoy these technologies without harming the environment. I am not saying give up your cellphones, cars or heating in the house. All I am saying is practice MODERATION. Current events....

Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy has started. So many sports to watch but the only thing I'll be keeping an eye on would be the hockey game. Go Canada Go! It certainly would be interesting to find out how this game will turnout.
